First Post.  The intended goal of this blog is to help organize my varied interests, and explore and keep track of many more.  I can care less who all reads this, since this is more of a personal endeavor (although a few close friends/family may find it somewhat interesting).  I also won't be too careful about grammatical mistakes, life is kinda short for that. We'll see how this goes
